Add OnlyFans income to your bookkeeping either per payout or once a month.
In the income voucher, report the net payout or payouts paid to your OnlyFans account and the commission amount in euros. Attach the relevant payout reports (invoices).
How to report OnlyFans income
- Download a payout report (invoice) from OnlyFans. The report must show the amount paid to your company.
- Add the income to your UKKO customer account:
Income → Add an income
You can add the income:- once a month as the combined total of all payouts received during that month, or
- separately for each payout.
- Attach the necessary reports to the income voucher:
- for a monthly income voucher, attach all payout reports for that month;
- for a single income voucher made per payout, attach only the relevant payout report;
- note: attach an agreement or another document showing the 20% commission charged by OnlyFans to the first income voucher you add to the service.
- Enter the income amount as the net payout paid to your company bank account in euros plus the commission. The VAT rate for the sale is 0%.
- Do not enter the gross amount shown on the payout report (invoice) in US dollars.
- You can calculate the total sales using the following formula:
payout amount (in euros) ÷ 80 × 100 - State that the buyer is a company outside of EU area.
Report the commission charged by OnlyFans as a deduction. Calculate the commission as follows:
total sales − total amount paid out = commission
Use a VAT rate of 25.5% for the sales commission and select Other country as the country of reduction.
- Match the payout transaction or transactions in your company bank account with the income voucher and mark the income as paid.
Example of adding OnlyFans income
The OnlyFans report shows:
- Amount paid: USD 834
- Check the amount of the payout in euros in your company’s bank transactions. In this example, the payout was exactly EUR 800.
- Calculate the total sales using the formula:
EUR 800 ÷ 80 × 100 = EUR 1,000 - OnlyFans commission:
EUR 1,000 − EUR 800 = EUR 200
Add EUR 1,000 as sales, select a VAT rate of 0%, and specify that the buyer is a company domiciled outside the EU.
Report the EUR 200 commission charged by OnlyFans as a deduction. Select Other country as the country of reduction and use a VAT rate of 25.5%.
Please note
- OnlyFans income is treated as a business-to-business sale to Fenix International Limited.
- The sale is treated as a sale subject to 0% VAT.
- The 20% commission charged by OnlyFans is treated as a separate purchase of services subject to the reverse charge mechanism for VAT.
- A Gross/Net report alone is not sufficient for reporting the income because the gross amount shown on the report may not correspond to the amount paid into your company’s bank account.
- Make sure that the payouts you report match the payments received in your company’s bank account.
