If you are having issues adding your bank card information into our service, check the following points:
Strong authentication is required
Changed legislation in the EEA will require strong authentication for payments from the beginning of 2021. This means that most likely when adding your payment card to our service, your bank will request strong authentication in order to add the card to our service. This change has been made to protect consumers. If strong authentication is required, please follow the instructions you receive.
Your bank might sometimes also require strong authentication for monthly re-occuring charges. Unfortunately we cannot affect this at all. If your bank requires strong identification to pay our monthly service fee, you will receive an email about this. The email will have a link to strong authentication and the amount of the service fee. Please follow the instructions in the email.
Even though this is out of our control, we apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.
2. Online payments are not allowed in your card settings
If your bank card's settings do not allow payment to outside of the EU, this will block you from adding your card to our service. Our payment's are processed through Stripe, which is a company based in the USA.
In this case, check your bank card's settings or contact your bank to change the settings.
3. You are using a Visa Electron card
Visa Electron bank cards have not been in use since the beginning of 2024. It is not possible to add a Visa Electron card to our service.
