For the logbook, you need to record the information on your car journeys. In this way, you can reliably show the tax administration how much you are using the car for work purposes.
You can make a new travel entry in your user account by clicking on the “Logbook”. On this page, you must fill in the driving route, the purpose of the trip, the date, the start and end time, and the odometer reading at the beginning and end of the trip.
If you are recording a private drive, please choose the “private drive” option.
So what counts as a business drive and what doesn’t?
Overall, the division is quite easy. When you drive from home to work, this is not a business drive. Instead, driving from home to the client’s office or other non-permanent workplaces (so places where you do not usually work) is counted as a business drive.
Read here how to add driving log information from the beginning of the year to our service.
