Add your Timma sales to the UKKO service based on the sales report and payout report downloaded from Timma.
Report the total sales amount before deducting any payment terminal commissions or service fees charged by Timma. Add these payment terminal commissions or service fees separately as deductions.
How to add Timma sales to the service
- Log in to the Timma service.
- Download the sales report for the period you are processing and the Timma Pay payout report.
- In the UKKO service, go to Income and select Add income.
- Attach both the sales report and the payout report to the income voucher.
- Select Sales as the transaction type.
- Enter the total sales shown on the Timma report before deducting Timma’s payment terminal commission and other costs.
- Do not report only the net amount paid into your bank account as sales.
- If the sales report includes several VAT rates, report the sales on separate lines.
- Add a description for the income, for example Timma sales [month and year].
- Select Income includes deductions and add the payment terminal commissions charged by Timma as a deduction under Sales commission.
- Enter the amount of the deduction according to the payout report, including Timma’s payment terminal commissions and the VAT related to them.
- Before saving, check that:
- the total sales amount includes Timma’s commissions
- the amount reported as a deduction corresponds to Timma’s commissions and the VAT on them
- the sales have been reported using the correct VAT rates
- all sales reports related to the total sales amount are attached to the income voucher.
- Save the income and mark it as paid according to the instructions below.
Timma’s payment terminal commission is treated as a deduction, but the commission must also be included in the total sales amount so that your turnover is reported correctly.
Example of processing Timma sales in your UKKO customer account
Timma pays out your sales once a week, but you can add the income to your UKKO customer account once a month. You can also add the income weekly if you prefer.
In this example, we add all sales made in September as income for your private trader business:
- Download the sales report for September 1–30 and the payout report from the Timma service.
- Create new income in your UKKO customer account and attach both reports to the income voucher.
-
Enter the total sales shown on the sales report. If the sales are subject to different VAT rates, report each VAT rate on a separate line on the income voucher.
In this example, the total sales amount is €14,127.80, including 25.5% VAT.
- Add a description for the income, for example Timma sales September 2026.
-
Check the fees charged by Timma from the Timma Pay payout report:
- Timma’s total commission on payment terminal fees: €106.51
- VAT on Timma’s commission: €27.15
- Add Timma’s commissions and the VAT on them as a deduction under Sales commission, for a total of €133.66.
After this, the income voucher will look like this in your UKKO customer account:
How to mark Timma income as paid
Mark the income as paid according to how the sales were paid:
- If the bank account used by your private trader business is connected to your UKKO customer account:
- Match the income with the following payments received from Timma:
- the bank transaction or transactions for regular card payouts
- the bank transaction or transactions for credit payments
- Match the income with the bank transaction or transactions for payments received from Timma invoices. These are invoices created in the Timma service where the customer’s payment is paid directly into your business bank account.
- Mark any cash sales as paid elsewhere. Enter as the payment date the date on which you received the last cash payment during the period.
- Alternatively, you can mark all of these bank transactions as private. This includes Timma payouts, credit payments and payments received from Timma invoices.
- If you mark the bank transactions as private, mark the entire income amount as paid using the paid elsewhere option. Enter the total amount of income received, including Timma payouts, credit payments, payments received from Timma invoices and cash payments. Use the last date of the sales period shown in the report as the payment date.
- Match the income with the following payments received from Timma:
- If the bank account used by your private trader business is not connected to your UKKO customer account:
- Mark the entire income amount as paid using the paid elsewhere option. Enter the total amount of income received, including Timma payouts, credit payments, payments received from Timma invoices and cash payments. Use the last date of the sales period shown in the report as the payment date.

Check before saving
Make sure that:
- the sales report and payout report are attached to the income voucher
- the reported sales amount matches the total sales amount in the sales report
- any payment terminal commissions or service fees charged by Timma have been added as deductions
- the sales have been reported using the correct VAT rates
- the income has been marked as paid correctly.
Please note
If you use Zettle by PayPal payments in Timma, do not add the same sales separately to the UKKO service through Zettle. Zettle sales are included in the Timma sales report, so reporting them separately may result in the sales being recorded twice.
Frequently asked questions
Which reports do I need to report regular Timma sales?
You need the Timma Pay payout report and the sales report for the relevant month. Attach both reports to the same income voucher.
Are Timma credits added to the same income as other Timma sales?
Yes. Timma credits are included in the total amount in the monthly sales report.
How do I handle Timma sales paid in cash?
Cash payments received are included in the monthly sales report. You only need to mark the cash payments as paid elsewhere. Use the date on which you received the last cash payment during the period as the payment date.
How do I report the payment terminal commissions charged by Timma?
Report the fees charged by Timma for payment terminal transactions and the VAT included in them together with the total sales amount. The sales amount reported on the income voucher must correspond to the total sales before deducting Timma’s fees.
How do I handle invoices I receive from Timma for using the Timma service?
Timma may send you separate invoices for using, for example, a payment terminal or booking system. These are regular business purchase invoices.
Add the invoice to the UKKO service as a business expense and report the amounts and VAT shown on the invoice according to the invoice details. Attach the invoice to the expense voucher and check that the invoice total, VAT rate and VAT amount match the information on the invoice.
An invoice received from Timma is handled separately from the income vouchers for Timma sales, Timma credits and cash sales.
