Please note that the invoice will appear in Kravia’s service only after the applicable time period mentioned above has expired.

Using UKKO Debt Collection for the first time:
When you activate UKKO Debt Collection for the first time, you will need to accept the collection service terms by answering a few questions and signing an agreement with our partner Kravia.
- If you invoice customers outside Finland please provide a short description of your international invoicing.
- If you do not invoice outside Finland you can press "No" and agree the terms and activate the UKKO Debt Collection.
- By accepting the UKKO Debt Collection terms and selecting "Activate UKKO Debt Collection" we will create an account for you in Kravia’s system, after which invoices can be sent to Kravia. Please note that actual collection actions will not begin until you have signed Kravia’s agreement.
- After accepting the terms, you will be directed straight to the Signicat e-signature service, where you will sign the agreement with Kravia. Once the agreement has been signed, collection actions can begin.
- You will receive your login credentials for the Kravia portal by email, where you can track the status of the collection process.
You can transfer an invoice to collections when:
- the invoice has not yet been marked as paid
-
no financing application has been submitted for the invoice, meaning that only collections or financing can be activated for a single invoice, not both

Free UKKO Debt Collection includes all of the following:
- Payment reminder

-
A second payment demand (if the invoice was sent to a private individual)
or
- A demand for payment with threat of protest and a bill protest (if the invoice was sent to a business)
Please note that if you are liable for VAT and the debt collection is successful, Kravia will invoice you for the VAT portion of the collection costs. You can record the invoice as an expense in the UKKO Entrepreneur service. If you are not liable for VAT, Kravia will cover the VAT portion.

Possible next steps:
- Legal debt collection:
At the client’s decision, the collection process may proceed to legal debt collection. In that case, an official fee (70 €) will be charged for the process, and Kravia will also charge a handling fee for preparing the claim. If the legal debt collection is successful, the client will recover these costs from the debtor.
- Post-collection:
The client may also decide to transfer the collection process to post-collection, in which case the collection continues without legal action. Transferring the receivable to post-collection is free of charge, but Kravia charges 25% of the receivable for post-collection.
- Terminate the assignment, i.e. the collection process:
If you wish, you can also decide to terminate the assignment, in which case no costs will be incurred.
